<blockquote>さて、本年度も北山林業が誇る伝統技法「本仕込」を行います。本年度で７年目、台風のため２度の中止をやむなくされましたが５回開催で約６００名弱の皆様に見て頂く事が出来ました。600年の歴史を誇る北山林業ならではの製造方法「本仕込」は匠の技と大自然の恩恵、天然のパワーだけで行う高度な伝統技法です。出来上がる丸太は類の無い光沢、艶があり割れにくく年月と共に味わいがでますが、天候に非常に左右され危険が伴う上技術継承者が非常に少なく経験をつんだ職人は高齢化し現在この作業が出来る組は　ただ一組と言うのが現状です。<br />
木と対話しながら木を育て、育った場所で丸太にする…人の手で行う作業は「日本が世界に誇る木の文化」の原点と確信致しております。この600年の歴史で培われた伝統技法「本仕込」を是非ご頂きたくご案内申しあげます。</blockquote>
